I was not frightened of what Obama might do.

I was not frightened, that President Obama would end the world, or hurt the world.

When G.W. Bush won the election, I had imagined it was possible that G.W. Bush would crack and split the whole Earth, and destroy the Earth.

Earth, floating in space, in pieces, destroyed. Where did I get this image ?

When President JFK won the election, I was too young to understand what it meant. I only knew that some were happy, and some were not. What I did understand, was that Russia was a bully, and crazy. Kruschev pounding his shoe on a desk, and threatening America. "We will bury you!"

Russia was the reason we had nuclear blast drills, and why we had to prepare for the possibility of nuclear fallout. During the Cuba Missile Crisis, I was a little child, that was worried that I would die, and that everyone I knew, would die. Or, suffer horribly, and then die. We lived through a tense standoff with Russia. We children knew about mutual annihilation. It was not an abstract fear. We did not have video games to water down and diffuse the impact of the knowledge. We were close to the reality, because we spent our school years preparing ourselves with skills to care for the dead, and the survivors, and ourselves. The adults did not spare us from reality. They wanted us to have the possibility of surviving. They did not leave us empty headed and helpless.

Maybe, they were not tender hearted and sentimental about childhood, because of Korea, and the Big War. WWII killed many Americans, maimed and destroyed others. The people that lived through those times, knew the seriousness of war.

Russia was willing to press The Button over Cuba.

Why was I frightened about someone killing President Obama ? Because someone killed JFK, and soon after, his brother Bobby was killed. I knew there were many racists that wanted Obama dead. But, I did not worry about President Obama starting a war with North Korea.

Many Presidents treated North Korea as if it were Russia's insane pet. You do not pet it, because it bites, barks, and it was possible it had rabies. It could not be trained, it could only be confined.

You just leave it medicine, food and water, and leave it alone. Keep it confined.

Along comes Donald J. Trump, who takes the threats seriously. Perhaps Wok knows the reality of the situation.

I feel badly for the children of today. Donald J. Trump does not give a fuck about them. He has children and grandchildren, but all he can think about, is how he will look in front of the cameras. He is completely delusional.

Well, yes. And those who voted for Trump or didn't vote at all share the guilt on this. It wasn't a surprise what was coming. You didn't have to rely on media reporting from either side to figure it out. All you had to do was listen to what Trump himself said on live coverage and tweeted. If you have half a brain, you knew.

But but but HILLARY the warmonger

Btw the same Breitbart zombies are blaming Hillary and Obama for being soft on NK

Whining luzers always find someone else to blame.

I blame Obama for being soft on many violations, like not prosecuting 1) financial crimes of the recession, and 2) war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Dubya's gang. He also should have disentangled from Afghanistan way back when.

But I never feared Obama would start a nuclear war, especially over such a worthless realm of shit as DPRK. I never feared Obama would have me blocked from border-crossing back into USA. I never feared he would try to establish a dictatorship, despite the rantings of alt.right fucktards.

Betcha that Kim stays in power longer than Tromp.

Obama could have repealed Obamacare several times, but he never did.

He could have peeled off his black mask and shown his white side and everything would have been fine.

Listening to my local Boston commentators...

"An announcement, is not an accomplishment."

I hope that, by now, all leaders around the world, even the tiny overlooked countries, know that Trump is a big bag of hot meaningless gas.

Another Ronald McDonald, entertaining the Hoopleheads and blockheads, while his bosses, the corporate thieves, steal everything of value.
