Question Re turning off voting

I've read that if you turn voting off on a story at any point it will not be part of any contests, even if you turn the voting back on....
My question is: if you turn off voting on ONE part of a multi part story, will the rest of the story parts be available for contests, as long as those parts have always had voting enabled?

The answer is that your other parts will be eligible for monthly contests, but chapters aren't permitted in themed contests anyway, so the question is irrelevant there.
