Why don't white people just become 'transparent'?

Seems to me that the entire "choose-your-favorite-superpower" divide could be resolved by white people just 'thinking' they're transparent people (or translucent). Since 'whites' are usually to be the race to have these powers in movies/tv shows (Invisible Girl, Harry Potter's cloak, super-speed making you disappear like The Flash, Kevin Bacon's character in Hollow Man), just make everybody see-through!!!
