Cure For Writers Block

I'm writing a personal Web comic / novel, I'm so blocked it isn't funny.
I tried writing a few erotica one shots and I'm still not breaking through.

What else can I try? What do you do to unblock yourself? I find it hard
to just sit down and type now.

Not that I'm block often, but I do what every weekly thread brought up on this seems to bottom line on--I go off and do something else for a while.

I do this as well. I like to read what I've recently written (or the whole thing if not that long) then go on a long walk while the story is fresh in my mind.

Having someone to brainstorm ideas is another great way to get the train moving again.

Re-reading my previous stories seems to have helped, not sure why I never thought of that.
