Damn, y'all made me go look at news earlier than is good for my homeostasis. I need more coffee.

Og, as granddad, has been back to our local Aldi store for more school trousers for our grandson. He had outgrown his current ones but on the day the offer started I was able to buy some in the right size, and the next size up.

Today I went back to get more in the even larger size. Why?

They are priced at £1.25 each. That is so low as to be ridiculously cheap. Almost all the under 11 boys in our town will be wearing Aldi school trousers next term.

Now for a refreshing cup of coffee...

Afternooner all. Things are settling into a pattern here. An ever shifting pattern but a pattern none the less. :D

I like random patterns. They're the best exercise for decision-tree evaluations. Hmmm, is that a real pattern, or a mistaken one, and how could we tell the true from false positives and negatives? If we think it's a pattern, shoot it and see if it dies. Or glue it down and see if it sticks. Or set it free, to waft away on the offshore breeze...

Well, so much for Venus winning another major.

She's made the finals of two of the three Grand Slam events this year. And with Serena out of the picture for a while, I think she has a good shot at the US and Australian Opens. She even hinted at it in the post match interview.

She also had the tragic car accident hanging over her head, which she has now been cleared of being at fault.

I've located the old switches that I've had for ages; big chunky ones that go "Clunk".
Soldering tomorrow.

And now for a cup of Tea.

Got some writing done this evening and a little research. Now I think it is time for bed.

Morning Chloe, and a happy Sinday to you.

Places to be and people to do so I'm starting early.

There was a tornado about 4 miles down the road yesterday afternoon. Tore up a large storage complex. The rood is off the main building and boats and RV's are scattered around in a mess. No one was hurt. There was a large auction going on less than a quarter mile on down the road. If it had hit there, there would have been many hurt.

The ladies decided they wanted sausage and pancakes for breakfast. Who am I to argue. Naked ladies cooking is always a wonder to behold. :)

Glad to hear no on was hurt, Tx. :rose:

We've mostly got flooding going on up here but not immediate to my home.

Cinnamon rolls, sausage and scrambled eggs this morning. And coffffeeeeeee. :)

Federer's just won the second set in a heartbeat. I'm going to bed 12.15am and a 7.00am flight later this morning.

And a third victory for Lewis at Silverstone.
Magic - and I slept through it !

And now - Coffee !

Evening all,

Back home. We had a good day at the park early and took a nice ride through part of the National Forest. Ended up at a small backwoods lake for a little skinny dipping. The weather was beautiful among other things. :)

Fresh coffee for the evening crowd.

Sounds like you had a fun day. Me, I'm heads down in my last coffee of the day, early dinner, early night, early hanky panky and early start tomorrow. Had thunderstorm this afternoon so it was easy to stay inside and write.

And we are all in favour of some "early hanky panky" I reckon.

Anyone else seen the tale of the techie stuck inside the ATM ?

I read about the tech. Poor guy. I didn't realize there was enough room inside an ATM to fit a person. But I probably would have thought it was one of those jokes also. I am glad someone finally did something to help him. But I bet he never goes into fix one again without propping open the door and carrying his phone. LOL

Monsoons have started. Rains a little bit every day. One day we even had hail. I didn't know it could hail in 85 degree weather. Learn something new every day. :)
