It expresses one's own personal style. I like painting mine nontraditional colors such as black, royal blue or royal purple. They are royal purple at this time..

Made me LOL! Thanks for that.![]()
I'm having this discussion with a female friend of mine.
Is it a self-confidence thing, a power thing, a sexual thing? All of the above?
And, my theory, which she debunks, is...when a woman primps herself, including nails, it usually indicates that she has completed the self-hygiene task of trimming or shaving her pussy as well.
Any truth to my suspicions, or am I way off base (as usual...)?
It's a barometer for me. There have been times in my life when the mani/pedi was the last thing on my priority list...when my gfs see fresh nails, they immediately say "you're getting laid!". Then they want the details...lol
My last spa day was very recent![]()

Because nicely manicured hands look much better wrapped around a nice, big....
wine glass.

Well this is an old thread... I don’t normally play in the playground but I am procrastinating when I have something more important to do...
I never used to paint my nails... and I am still more likely to have bare nails than painted. I’m not very keen on having strangers touch me... and any attempts to paint my own are rubbish. But there was a moment, some years back, that stuck with me... as I’ve slithered up the greasy ladder at work I’ve increasingly found myself surrounded by posh boys.... proper private school posh... and I’ve increasingly felt I don’t belong - and I was sat there in a meeting with this one posh boy, who was lovely... and I was struck by how beautiful his nails were... properly manicured nails on a bloke. I looked down at my own hands with my chewed down, stubby, dirty little nails and I felt such an instant shame I hid my hands... my lovely posh boy would have been horrified at making me feel that way... some time after this I plucked up the courage to go for my second ever manicure (the first was when I won a massage at work, but we’ve discussed the struggling with a strangers touch so I negotiated a manicure instead).
A lovely little French thing who could tell I was nervous did her best to put me at ease and gave me beautiful (still short), rounded, shiny red nails... I was surprised at the instant confidence boost... I had to present a few days later and I was gesticulating like an Italian
So sometimes I have painted nails and sometimes I don’t- it says absolutely nothing about the state of my bush...![]()
Wait, you paint your bush too?![]()
If I had any nails, I'd probably paint them, too. I keep chewing 'em into the ground, though.![]()
Haha! Have you read the OPs post? If not my mention of bush makes no sense...![]()
