Example of plagiarism...

Define Trump's America.

Abiding in the midst of ignorance, thinking themselves wise and learned, fools go aimlessly hither and thither, like blind led by the blind, in Trump's America.

So? Does the fact that that some collusion might be legal make it not collusion?

Hold on, let me check...............Nope. You're right. LEGAL "collusion" linguistically qualifies as "collusion."

I'm just wondering why you and BND would think that point is particularly worth making and what you think should be done as a result of it?

Really? Russian agents...agents of what exactly?

Offered? What was actually offered and what was accepted? Was it something or "worth" as previously asked and not answered?

Why is it on me have to think anything about it? You're the one who brought up the legality angle.

I just think it's a political clusterfuck that would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Anyway, if we're talking legal trouble, it seems that might be more for Wonder Boy Jared. Who seem to have, for the second time, "forgot" to report a contact with a Russian operative on this security clearance form. How many do-overs does he get?

Pointing out pathological fixations without any basis in fact is NOT defending anyone. It's merely illuminating a serious mental disorder.

In specific answer to your last question, this from an April story from the New York Times:

While officials can lose access to intelligence, or worse, for failing to disclose foreign contacts, the forms are often amended to address lapses. Jamie Gorelick, Mr. Kushner’s lawyer, said that the questionnaire was submitted prematurely on Jan. 18, and that the next day, Mr. Kushner’s office told the F.B.I. that he would provide supplemental information.

**************

Clearance holders are often allowed to amend disclosure forms and avoid punishment if omissions are deemed oversights rather than deliberate falsifications, and prosecutions are rare.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/06/us/politics/jared-kushner-russians-security-clearance.html

And this from TPM DC today:

The June 2016 sit-down with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya was first brought to government officials’ attention when it was listed among the foreign contacts on Kushner’s amended application for a top-level security clearance, according to the New York Times. Kushner had initially omitted all of his meetings with foreign nationals from his SF-86, the questionnaire all applicants for national security clearances must fill out.

Once word got out within the government, the Times was informed about the development by people “familiar with” Kushner’s application. The newspaper published its first report about the Veselnitskaya meeting over the weekend, and then followed up with an increasingly damaging series of articles about it. The escalating stories prompted Trump Jr. to publish the entire email exchange leading up to the meeting on Twitter on Tuesday, laying out the details of what inspired the rendezvous.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/kushner-security-clearance-amendment-russia-lawyer-meeting-bombshell

So, in short, he did NOT "forget" a "second time." He only forgot once. And it was his specific recollection on his amended form back in April that DIRECTLY RESULTED in the brouhaha that erupted over the last few days. Thus, he only used the one "do over" he got.

And I know how sorry you are about implying that his memory lapse over a 20 minute, waste-of-time one-off meeting was intentional.

If Trump didn't have so many issues there would be nothing to make excuses or allowances for. Or the perceived need to "point out pathological fixations" - now there's a hoot. :D But that's not the case. And ya'll know it. So it's the usual deflect, shoot the messenger or bring in Clinton/Obama.

It's all in black and white. Every day there's at least one, if not more, instance where the Trump Defense Patrol has to come out to clean up his BS.

Spin it however it makes you feel best. :rose:
