About 42 percent of the 207 people attacked by bears from 1980 to 2015 were recreating in bear country, according to a tally from retired Alaska Department of Fish and Game bear biologist John Hechtel. Another 28 percent were hunting and 2 percent fishing.

Bears can respect another fisherman most times. About only time they congregate themselves. No running, no hunting.

Fishing rules!

I doubt it. The politicos want to name things after themselves.

Last ones we should be naming things for. When all other options are out, "Well he did serve his constituency for 30 years and was respected on both sides" then maybe.
