I'm guessing it will be as close to English as can be done without getting meat cut special from a butcher. (that funny tag piece) new territory for me
from what i saw, it's the canadian bacon version - which isn't like the brit back bacon but time will tell, taste-wise. now don't forget those lovely peppers you have sitting waiting to do that thing with :) so green and shiny!

to be absolutely technical, it's peameal bacon *shrugs*

That is the Canadian Ontario back bacon. Cured in a pickling brine? Awesome stuff for eggs benny. Or just bacon sandwich.
..
That's the one. :) Further reading revealed that the English version of back bacon was/is the same cut as pork chops without the bone.

My fighter PC just died. Damage from a chain lightning, then 100 ft of falling damage due to a reverse gravity spell, then more damage jumping down from reversed gravity zone and finally hit with power word kill spell. :(

Hoping the 20th level mage the surviving party members just killed has some sort of resurrection magic.

Woo Hoo he had a wish spell on scroll. Our mage passed casting the spell off the scroll with a 40% due to scroll being of high level.

Wording of the wish brought back all the party dead characters. Then a fighter and thief got in a duel over fighter previously owed items. Thief kicked ass by going invisible and back stabbing fighter.

A most exciting Friday night!

unfortunate for the store closing, but 70 and 90% off everything in it was FUN! we got over $300s worth of merchandise for $46! now that's a result

that was fun, and visiting the arts and craft fair was fun, too - funnel cake is not what i thought it might be. best of all, buying my overalls :D baggy, comfy, practical, useful, i love 'em! :D

Crikey! An appropriate tee, with them? Hawt Hill Williamina! :D

Tennessee hillbilly! :)
you betchagolly!

Not until she has a pair of dress overalls, too, for special occasions. ;)
lmao

Glad you like overalls butters, I hate them!

Mio maestro is cleaning out his car and with it some junk food. The chickens like rice Krispy cakes, siropwaffles and various other things. Turning up their noses at leather jackets and earwigs I am throwing out from my garden tidy on the other side.

It's a good day that starts with a rekindle of yesterday's fire.
chickens are such funny creatures :D

the only fire we lit was last night out back of the shop - the brush we'd cleared from a spot down near the road.

:p actually, they look kinda cute with the thin citrus lemon tee i got yesterday as well. as a 14-15 year old, whenever i wasn't in school i was in my bib n braces dungarees - granted, more fitted and stylish (i thought!) than my overalls - and i absolutely adored them. seems i've not really changed that much :D bit of a contrast to the long black strappy dress i got in the closing shop :D both have their purpose.
