When it came time to investigate possible use of a private email server by Hillary Clinton, just like her predecessor Colin Powell had done, and Condoleeza Rice had also used private, unsecured email during her job, no expense was spared. There was no end to Congressional investigations, or investigation by the FBI, and when the results came back that no crime was committed, only ineptitude, the hue and cry was heard round the world.
Yet, with evidence of collusion between one political campaign piling up on an almost daily basis, and the con artist having ordered the head of the FBI to shut down the investigation into the collusion, meh, no big deal.
Such is the attitude of Republican Senator Mike Lee whose sole job is to run interference for the con artist on the Senate committee investigating the collusion. Lee said that even if Comey’s testimony is true, “I don't see that that amounts to obstruction."
To reiterate, the head of the FBI telling a Senate committee, and the world, that the president of the United States ordered him to shut down the investigation of the con artist's collusion with Russia during the presidential campaign is no big deal, and in no way should be considered obstruction of justice.
One can only imagine what Senator Lee's response would be if Hillary Clinton were president and had done the same thing.
