Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Sunday said Congress should look into former FBI Director James Comey’s revelation that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch asked him to downplay the nature of his investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.

Testifying before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, Comey said Lynch had asked him to refer to the probe as a "matter" rather than an investigation, an exchange that he said made him feel queasy.

Asked whether Lynch was providing cover for Clinton, Feinstein said she couldn’t answer.

“I would have a queasy feeling too, though, to be candid with you,” she said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I think we need to know more about that, and there’s only one way to know about it, and that’s to have the Judiciary Committee take a look at that.”

Nice. It's always good to see partisans consider things not flattering to their team.

I forget Feinstein's background but I think she used to be a federal prosecutor. She recognizes that that was actually the bombshell in Comey's testimony.

One would think having already been put into an awkward position by his superiors in the Clinton Administration that when and if Comey felt the same way about Trump that he would have been a little more forthright in expressing his reservations.

If she keeps this up, a lot of Soros and Silicon Valley money is going to go into primarying her...

;) ;)

She was Mayor of San Francisco before being elected to the Senate. She tried to ban all handguns in San Francisco but was slapped down by the state Supreme Court.

Democrats are over Hillary. But Hillary wont go without wrecking the china shop.

Maybe some Litlibs can explain why this story is buried by the establishment media.

Before becoming mayor, she chaired the SF Board of Supervisors (City Council) and became mayor upon the murder of George Moscone. Later, she was elected to her own term and then to the US Senate.

There is EXACTLY NOTHING about anything Feinswine says, does, or is that I want to probe.

The whole idea makes me want to chug a 5th of whiskey just to wash away the smell.

Senate GOP shifts focus to Lynch

Senate Republicans are clamoring to hear from Loretta Lynch after former FBI Director James Comey raised concerns about her involvement in the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee are seizing on Comey’s testimony earlier this month that he was concerned over the former attorney general telling the FBI to refer to the Clinton investigation as a "matter," which resembled the Clinton campaign line.

The move could allow Republicans to attempt to pivot away from the investigation into Russia's election meddling — which top GOP lawmakers have signaled belongs to the Intelligence Committee — and focus on Lynch, who has long been a target of Republicans.

Grassley has signaled that potential obstruction of justice during the Obama administration should be included in the committee’s work. The GOP chairman has argued that such a move is relevant because the Trump White House initially pointed to Comey’s handling of the Clinton email investigation to justify his firing.

The press and the deep state are going to protect Lynch, Obama and Clinton in every manner possible.

The target is Abu Ivanka al-Amriki.

Plus Hollywood money.

She will be 86 years old next year. She looks as if she is going to be trying for another term, but that might change.

I doubt it.

There is the power.

More importantly, there is the fawning adoration attached to power...
