The map starts in the previous blurt thread a couple weeks ago.

I got all that but this sex shop thing almost sounds like she was just trying to drum up bussiness...

So you're the same ageish?

First job was at Taco Hell. In Sacramento. Fuck that poly uniform was hot. I could never wash the bean smell out of it.

Yeah...I worked at McDonalds...got fired

What a day. Productive yet... oddly off center.

It's kinda the geebie version of Rule 34.

On a side note, this is at least the third time you've sent me looking up stuff on the net in just a few days. Interesting.

I think my first minimum wage was $3.05.

Edit: I was wrong. $3.35.

I remember being paid $1.75/hr when I was a kid. That was the first time I ever was paid with a check. I made concrete filled survey monuments, and turned 4x4s into witness posts with some red and white paint.

Fishing set nets for the summer wasn't as lucrative, but it was a lot more fun.

My ass can use the monocle, but only if there's a menacing eyebrow drawn atop it.

I hope it's fun at least. Also, "penis fencing."

Choose your ink.

Also, hello!

It has been educational and interesting. Which is its own kind of fun. At least for me. :)

I've long heard of flatworm penis fencing - no need to look that one up. :D
Aha! I actually did a thread about it a long time ago. You study biology, or just dabble like me?
Hot pink with glitter, of course.

Hola, perg. Nice to see you back in the fifth circle.

I would say second, but there aren't too many lusty people around at the moment.

Ahahaha. Yesssssss!!

It's really nice to see you again. And that should change immediately.

I first ran into penis fencing several years back. I can't quite see through the fog of memory to remember exactly where I ran into it - not here. I only joined in February.

Jill of all trades, mistress of none... perhaps. ;) I do have a few areas I excel in. I dabble at studying? :D I like science - biology, physics, math, chemistry, history - and I am just about insatiably curious. It's not abnormal for me to click on one word or phrase and 20 tabs and an hour later I've found out all sorts of interesting things.

We could have hours of fun together. I could have written that, starting at :D. What are you reading these days?

Ahhhh I'm not much of a book reader these days. I'm still burnt out from all the crap I had to read in schooling and college. I know, terrible right? I read a lot of articles from all over the web. Whether it's drier scientific research papers or just raw data from various information sources that I put together.

Gotcha. I go in phases, cycles. I got sick of staring at a screen all the time and started reading books again, some stuff I knew I'd enjoy to rekindle the habit.

I do like the feel of books. Although oddly enough going into a used book store can make me quite nauseated. I even have one of those kindle things (Zumi :p ) but I haven't pulled it out and used it. I've read some books over the years but I am not the avid reader my father and grandmother were - they always had their nose in a book. But always fiction. Stories are okay, but I prefer reading about true things, learning stuff, thinking about how things work.

I do love the resource that is the internet. Instant knowledge. Ha. :D But if one is careful with their sources, there is really is nothing quite like it for a research tool.

I think to a large extent it's generational. We're more or less the first generation to really embrace the net like that. My parents are readers. Mom, 81, stands out because she uses Facebook and email, but she's barely starting to google for info.

I'm a book slut. If it's reasonably done, I'll read it. In your wheelhouse, I really like Mark Kurlansky, Wade Davis...and whoever wrote 1491 and 1493. There's also a whole list of natural science-y stuff I've loved. Any recommendations especially?
