I love lunch time, things have been accomplished, and there's still time to get more done. A quick little break, maybe some leftovers from last night, maybe a sandwich, maybe a stop at your favorite lunch place. Any way you slice it, I love me some lunch.

Now, where is the question you ask? Here it comes: what is something that you love that is mainstream but not necessarily thought of in that context, like lunch? :)
 
I have...an observation.

I’ve been a Litiquette visitor since version 2.0. Threat of citation has been bandied about. Freely. But I’ve yet to see any citation consequences. Not once!

Here we have VT and Naughty, two delightful women, actually volunteering for citations. (Okay. It might have been a couple of days ago, but I've been busy. :p)

Seems to me that requires a little action from the thread proprietor.

There’s always Trekka’s Nonconsensual Posting thread. Helpful link. Or there's always this little gem. Second helpful link.

Personally, I think a new thread is in order. I kinda like Chained’s Citations as a title. Or maybe...Consequences. :D

Aaaaaaand, since I should probably answer the question:

Early morning. I’m not an early riser, so it hardly ever happens, but when it does…glorious. The stillness, the quiet, being alone in the house. The knowledge that the whole day is before you, ready to be shaped how you please. Even the air has a different quality. Peaceful.
 
Given EN's call for justice, I'm tempted to go off topic and ignore the question, but I'm due a dozen 'citations' already so I'll behave today.

My little slice of happiness is that first cup of coffee in the morning. I know, lots of people love coffee. It's that first cup, though, poured before the sun comes up. The world is still sleeping, the house is quiet and still other than the one puppy that gets up early to snuggle with me while I savor that simple cup of hope. Other cups may receive an ice cube or two for faster consumption, but not that first cup. Almost too hot to hold, tiny sips that burn just a bit, the smell tickling my nose ... *sigh*. I don't think about the day ahead, don't plan or worry. It's just me, my dog, and my coffee mug. For that little bit of time nothing else matters.

I sure wish I had a dozen citations - sounds like that could be fun in CU's hands! :devil:

But, I'll follow the rules today since I'm feeling more obedient than usual. I like a nice strong cup of green tea in the morning. But what I really like, since I don't get to spend as much time with my daughters as I'd like because of work, is taking them to the park and pushing them side by side on the swings. Their innocent glee, coupled with a blue sky and little puffy white clouds with a nice gentle breeze infuses me with Love for all things and Hope for the future. :heart:
