Adult ads on sites

Hi everyone in Lit land; not sure this is the right place for this question. Has anyone ever posted a "wanted ad" on one of the sites like CL or BP? I'm posting a serious ad, I'm an honest guy, and all I get in reply are fakes and scams. I KNOW I'm in NYC, and that explains 90% of it, lol, but still it's frustrating. Any ideas? Thanks for the imput

I have not, but a friend found someone through CL. BS was in the news a couple months ago when I guy killed a prostitute he got through BP. The killing is not the point - the fact the prostitute came from BP

In your ad say to put a certain word in the email title to weed out scammers and bots. Pics to the front of the line I've said too. I think the best luck I've had was responding to ads. That way I can pick from pictures what interests me. I've had the best NSA action and it they fuel my fantasys lol

After I moved out of the house in the beginning of my separation I signed up on a site (not sure if people still use it) Adultfriend finder. People on there pretty much are there for hook-ups.

I met a lot of fun woman on that site.

I can't see doing the Craigslist thing though, to me that is just too creepy.

Odd, because I've read that Adultfriend finder was a total scam. Like Ashley Madison

CL requires some work but it will s possible to find real people there. I've hooked up with a few and had a great time. My advice is:

Make them prove they are real to weed out the dozens of scammers you will get. Have them put something specific as the subject line and say something about your city only a local would know. It becomes pretty easy to tell a real from a fake.

Meet in person first. Doesn't have to be a date--could be a minute-long conversation at your local grocery store. My big fear was showing up at some woman's door and having a creepy dude answer. One of the women I met was also scared of a killer showing up after seeing some movie about it, so we met jump and had some drinks so she could get a sense of me before having sex.

I've never used BP. Looked like nothing but call girls, which isn't my thing, and didn't know if they were real or fake anyway

That's really great advice, thanks for posting. ALL of them, so far (and there have been dozens), have turned out to be fakes...

I no more than clicked send in my emails when a guy from Nashville called. He said he was local. Since then I get 100's of Spam every day for everything including a sweet young thing 1/2 mile from my house. This is the same sweet young thing that lived near me in Florida!
So be ready to get Spam.

I've had mixed results with CL. Can we see what your ad said? Maybe we can help you out with some different language ;-)

I have had no problem reaching out on BP, however they have pulled the "working girl" category. Now they just use Woman for Man. I have gotten nowhere on CL. Every add seems to be a scam.

I haven't been successful on this site yet either. So far the closest woman that has responded has been three hours drive. I'll try to get there, someday.
