Toe will show black and blue bruising. Takes for ever to heal IMO. Big toe, assuming.
True. All hurt though. Depending upon which one will determine how painful it is and how weird you look trying to walk and deal with it.

Big toe is usually plaster and crutches, the rest is tape, assuming simple, thats as far as you go.
I have seen cut shoes with socks
And all these years I have just suffered through and there was a semi used roll of duct / duck tape in the drawer.
Yeah, in America there is tape called duck. Cheap in all ways.

You can go see a doctor... its obviously not sticking out. tape it to next door for a week, and it ifs hurting in a certain place then, go see him. Dislocation means it has to be put back in, but the swelling needs to go down first, so a week of leaving it taped up is great, also if its broken, because all he can do is go, x-ray, its broken, I'll tape it up, and by the way, stay off it.
Also, I hear kicking cats helps.

At mile 30 of Friday's bicycle ride, I saw a group of five or six people standing around something on the path. As I approached the group, a woman turned to stop me.
She warned me that there was a big snake on the path. I dismounted and walked forward. There, in the middle of the path, was the biggest goddamned black snake I have seen in a long, long time.

The thing was not happy. It was coiled and hissing— and was not the least bit interested in moving.
They were trying everything they could think of to get the damn thing off the path— and nothing was working.
Having neither the inclination nor the interest in hanging around, I gathered my courage, walked past the thing (as far away as possible) and went on my merry way.
On my return, I was desperately hoping to find a very dead snake in the middle of the path. Unfortunately, my hope wasn't fulfilled.

Oh, my little toe nails are a lost cause, but they are so tiny it's hardly worth worrying about. I always wear toenail polish. I would not inflict my naked toenails on the world
I didn't even mention the number of times I pulled the sliver out, and yet the toenail grew again in two parts.
From oh that hurt, and falling asleep shortly after to when it became whole again, just unbelievable.
I broke an arm, I broke a leg, and yet, that was within months.

The pool is open and I had my first swim of the summer last week.
Every year, I forget how intense a form of exercise swimming is. It takes a while to build up my ability to swim laps for 20 minutes. There are muscles that only swimming finds; I could feel 'em yesterday.
The weather is so fine today that I'll end up doing quadrathlon ( there will be tennis, running, cycling and swimming ).

Yep, broken a couple over the years by middle of the night stumbling around mangling piggies against one thing or another. It seems to take forever to heal. I made out better than a friend---a frozen turkey fell on her toes. Yikes!
