Since she’s one of the best we’ve got, this interview makes for a very disappointing eye-opener.

To promote her new book “This Fight Is Our Fight”, she went on The Young Turks — an independent progressive media outlet on YouTube, to do an interview with Cenk Uygur, one of the main hosts of the show.

First, credit where credit is due. On financial issues, she’s one of the very best in the Senate. She’s fought for consumer protection, believes in harsher rules on credit agencies, and believes in increased financial transparency and accountability.

However, in this interview, she manages to defend blue dog Democrats like Joe Manchin, be dishonest on why she didn’t support Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic Primary, and to not show her support for those who want to primary corporate Democrat incumbents out of office.
