Not the Antichrist, but an antichrist. As the word is used in the New Testament, it does not mean the Beast of Revelations, the opposite number of Christ; it means one who puts himself in the place of Christ, i.e., a false messiah, of whom there were or recently had been several in Judea at the time the Apostles were preaching.

Now, Trump does not claim the power to redeem sins or save souls, but he does claim the power to solve all the world's problems, or at least this country's, and that is what the Jewish messiah is supposed to do -- personal salvation is no part of his mission. He does say things like "I alone can fix it," and that is not politician talk, that is false-messiah talk.

Well KO, you went from "Trump is HITLER!!" to "Trump is the ANTICHRIST!!!" and nobody gives a shit about that either......and he's STILL better than Clinton. :D

You know that is bullshit. Clinton would make sure that more people are covered by health insurance, not fewer. Clinton would not disclose classified intelligence directly into the ears of Russian spies. Clinton would not approve pipelines that leak right out of the box. Shall I go on?

You know that is bullshit.

I don't see how.

Clinton would make sure that more people are covered by health insurance, not fewer.

Clinton forcing me to buy your shit isn't a good thing for me bubba.

Clinton would not disclose classified intelligence directly into the ears of Russian spies.

No she'll just leave piles of it exposed on the internet after she steals it. LOL

Clinton would not approve pipelines that leak right out of the box. Shall I go on?

Oh yes she would, she'll do anything for enough money just like Trump.

Now you know that's not true; she'll do a lot for money, but not anything, and Trump will. Clinton has some integrity and Trump has none. I doubt he can even spell the word.

Delusional.

The same number of people are being covered by Obamacare as there were before Trump did nothing on health care. The only people not covered are those who were victimized by the insurance companies who had to finally surrender to the reality of what this bill did, and that was not to force a larger group of younger and healthier premium payers (who btw, don't even have to enroll until they are 27, provided they just don't decide to pay the insignificant fine).

Oh how much Kool Aid do you chug every morning? Seriously KO, not even the other (D)'s believe that shit.

Your own team rejected her mostly because she's a blatant sell out to all but the most zealous believers such as yourself.

Clinton has some integrity

LMFAO!!!

No....KO.....she doesn't, she's a puppet for plutocratic dirt bags on Wall St. who are JUST LIKE TRUMP if not more malicious and scammy.

How often do we hear about how the Trump Administration is being run by Goldman Sachs, the same people who were financing Hillary, Bill and the Foundation large...

;) ;)

Not often seeing as last I checked it's not and Sachs didn't give Trump mega bucks like they did Clinton.

Also considering the rhetoric from the Sachs clan over in the DNC I'm pretty sure they are trying to get him impeached ASAP, not fund his re-election campaign like they would be doing for Clinton.

Same with Saudi Arabia, who was all cool when they were showing the Clinton campaign with money but is not EEEEEVIL because struck deal with Trump.

Wouldn't surprise me. The big-biz CEOs like having a Pub in the OO, but not necessarily this one; he's not really one of them, he's a "short-fingered vulgarian" from Brooklyn and not at all their social equal, and, what really matters, he is unpredictable and impulsive and might someday actually follow through with some of his populist promises. They would much rather have Pence, I think.

One more time, patiently, HE'S A FUCKING DEMOCRAT! His vulgarity is completely in keeping with late-night comedians and now, broadcast news and vulgarity shouting politicians...

;) ;) His willingness to say something crazy at the drop of a hat is right up there with Pelosi, Schumer, Waters..., et al!

Populist - that comment makes sense.

And there's always a potential danger with populists/ nationalists: they can shift the blame on certain social groups if things go wrong. In order to hide their incompetence.
And due to Trump's choice of rhetoric in order to be elected, one can easily imagine such a scenario.

But being compared to Hitler, or described as dangerously unpredictable and impulsive - why would people see him like that?
I personally saw no evidence of that.

The air is thick with early onset dementia.

Oreo is slipping away right before our eyes.

They love having (D)'s even more by the looks of the Obama admin and support for Clinton.

he's not really one of them,

And Clinton is, which is a huge part of why she lost ;)

Of course they would.

R's talk, D's talk but money doesn't lie..... they REALLY wanted a Democrat. ;)

Trump lacks the intelligence and imagination to be like Hitler, but he is unpredictable and impulsive. You can tell just by his rhetoric, often contradicting what he said previously, with no indication that he ever changed his position in a calculated way to increase his voter appeal or the political feasibility of his proposals -- it is only that his mind really is that light and flighty, and he seems always to agree with whomever spoke to him most recently.

The Kochs almost never do; Clinton is the only possible exception I can think of -- they never supported her that I recall, but they certainly did not support Trump, and they would have supported any other Pub nominee without reservation.

1. I disagree.
Populist - certainly.
Racist- possibly. Although it's unclear if he's really a racist (his behaviors prior to the election run proved otherwise) or it was just pre- electoral opportunistic speech.

But I always found the comparisons to Hitler to be inappropriate, and to create an effect opposite to the one intended:
It makes those who use this comparison look Hitler- esque: villify your opponent, in order to squash him.
Just like those (not you) who cry "racist" whenever they don't like someone, or their ideas.

2.This makes a lot of sense, actually.
But was it reflected in his actions too?

The Kochs =/= wall st.

Who's been pouring mega bucks into (D), and sure (R) money would like to back an (R) but the fact that they went backing (D) and STILL LOST!

Ought to tell you something about just how wonderful and pure (D) politics are outside your fantasy bubble, in the real world.
