It's the Denali National Park road. They have 4x4 stakes along the road. not to keep you on, but to mark where you go off.

That picture is amazing. Do people cycle it?

Should the upper half of the salmon fillet be much thicker than around the belly area? Would make it easier to grill being all same thickness. Waste of meat. Or were you referring to poor job on lower half?
Generally all around a half arsed job at making it look aesthetically pleasing.

A fresh king salmon fillet. Too expensive for me.
He's pretty proud of his sloppy knife skills.

I suppose Bill Gates could afford Copper River King for dinner.
Haa haa funny part is, most of the Copper River is in Canuckistan, the first and only time I was up there they were feeding Kings to their dogs. It was the only salmon that would make it that far.
"King", I'm guessing is a Yank term for hinook? On the Left Coast, they call those big'uns Tyee, don't they? Whodaphuque would feed it to dogs, unless it was post-spawned rotten? :rolleyes
No argument... just used to different terms. That selfsame list in The Atlantic is a replica of the one at http://www.bcsalmon.ca
