Small, homogenous and tribal, no matter how rugged you see yourselves as individuals and I can say that with confidence because of the form of government you have chosen. Hell, everyone in my maternal family was an individual, yet they all identified strongly with their tribe(s).

And a strong central government allows you to feel more like an individual because it lessons your reliance on traditions such as family, community and religion. But you still have to answer to your government if you expect it to be there for you should you need it the way "conservative" Americans answer to their family, community and church.

Also, I've been watching clips of McMasters on CBS and he very explicitly explained what was discussed and said bluntly that no secrets were shared. The Russians confirmed this. I don't have to believe Trump, but I do believe the General. The Post ran the story without even bothering to confirm it, the old journalistic standard of having two sources, but the abandoned that because it s the story they wanted to print because our national media (as well as some sleeper agents in our intelligence community) is focused, as so any of you seem to be, on the destruction of Trump.
