Russia poses an external threat and Trump an internal one!

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper issued a stern warning Sunday about the state of the US government after President Donald Trump's decision to fire FBI Director James Comey last week, saying he thinks US institutions are "under assault."

"I think in many ways our institutions are under assault both externally -- and that's the big news here is the Russian interference in our election system -- and I think as well our institutions are under assault internally," Clapper said on CNN's "State of the Union."

Trump is a crook and will hopefully be brought down.

Then what?

I'm no fan of Donald's but the reality is what next? Let's say he is impeached and removed from office. Then what. A less controversial government that will strip away voting rights, environmental protections, women's health, healthcare in general, worker rights and the list goes on and on.

The plutocracy is alive and well. Removing Trump will not do anything to stop it. It may indeed accelerate it.

It's not just about justice, it's about mocking and laughing at Trump. If somebody has the balls to step up and have a go at Trump, it would be the most entertaining television since OJ.
Come to think of it, if the GOP were smart, they would impeach him. Then while the circus frenzy was surrounding Trump they could do whatever they wanted and really screw Americans.

They're doing that now; Trump signs every bill they send him.

The OJ thing bored me. Granted it was funny when the judge got the rug.

I'm sure there's more entertaining things out there.
