Well, I agree and I would be prepared to consider my own part in this.

But tbh Debbie, even tho I think you're a genuinely nice person,
I do believe that you idealize the Cool kids and are colour blind when it comes to the negativity and trolling coming from Their part as well.

And judging from Anne and Lance's attitide, they have a hunch that this thread too, will turn into another one of those "Cool kids: good -- everyone who doesn't like or antagonizes them: bad.

Lance has a very valid point. All of the people who put themselves up on some moral pedestal who cried foul over politics, bemoaned the climate of speech, and daily chastised every poster they deemed right-wing as stupid, intolerant, mean-spirited, etc., got a politics board, which did not serve their purpose because the long-time "right-wing" posters stayed put. The next step was snowflake haven, which gives them every fucking thing they want, but they still feel compelled to drift back to the GB in order to maintain the verbal assault on the very posters that they wanted to have nothing to do with.

In some ways, it's hysterically funny and in others such a tragedy that spoiled children always demand more...
