The Living Works of Art Challenge

great job on your pics H!

Thanks - a compliment from you means a lot!

Le Faune has a favorite chair and looks comfortably posed. Let the sculptors and painters begin!

Thank you, MrG...

Two pics in two days, lots of artistic expression. So of course you need to relax in that chair. Nice to see.

...and thank you too, MsG! :rose:

Damn, H, great calves.

Looking quite relaxed. Nice job.

Cheers, JRP. Now I have to get to work growing a beard for the Zeus pic. :D

Zeus, a Cardinal fan of Olympic proportions, grew tired as game three against the Braves dragged on into extra innings. Suddenly remembering his powers, he raised his bat and ball, sent a bolt of energy into Pham's bat, and caused the home run that gave the Cards another victory.

On a curatorial note, the model reports that his lovely assistant noticed that the ball cap was not providing all of the modest cover it might have, but she kept this information to herself and later insisted that any Greek god would be okay with it.

Your glamorous assistant clearly understands the wily Greek gods. :D. As usual, a great effort, MrG!

I'll wait to see if it's more credit or blame before I accept the responsibility. But I do like the pic.

Haha. I love you two.
Great job.

WE do not care about the gods because WE are definitely okay with it!! ;)

Play ball!!

Here is Zeus, strangely discovered in a London hotel room. We did consider going to buy a fake beard from a fancy dress shop, but ultimately opted for a "virtual beard". :)

The hotel room cost enough without buying a beard. Besides, the virtual addition allows for your artistic expression to shine through too. Now, tell us about Zeus calling for room service.

As usual, a creative take by you, Mr. G. The gods refuse to be bound by any societal standards of modesty.

Like H, I've been traveling and had to improvise a bit. I also had only enough battery power in the camera for one shot. After a long day on the road, I surveyed my kingdom (aka hotel room) and, remote in hand, exercised my influence over my loyal subject (the TV).

Right, those gods could be pretty randy in chasing the maidens, so modesty wasn't high on the list. Thanks for putting me in that company.

Judging by the drapery's settled look, you weren't finding the porn channel. As a god, you should be more demanding of you loyal subject. And then have a good story about room service too.;)

I have been remiss in expressing my enjoyment at the reopening of the museum. But enjoying it I am, oh yes

Mmmm. I'm with Ms G on this one...

We didn't really have time to make full use of that chair, did we? :( Will have to go back...

Here you go

Oh yes. I like the clenched fist. And the glimpse of the navel.

Looks like the same carpet as ours, JRP! Was there a free rubber duck in your bathroom?!

That pose suits you very nicely. And the chair looks sturdy enough for your subject to show her devotion in enthusiastic fashion. Now put the remote down. You'll be needing your hands free... :)

Nice one JRP.
I've missed seeing you around.
