hands ~ at work, at play, at rest

Ok, not bad. You must be in a warmer climate than I am.

No not at all. But as you can see, I am wearing my full on Drytop. No Shorty for me yet.

This one is me peeling out of a micro eddy, on river right, that is next to the big bluff overlooking the rapid. Behind me is downstream. There is a nice big hole in the middle that I will have to avoid.

My working hands: hands that helped garden to feed my family growing up, hands that tirelessly held a pencil through many years of education, hands that held the hand of an old man as he passed from this life to the next, hands that shook as I took my wedding vows and shook even harder as I signed my divorce papers, hands that clung to a stranger as i gave birth to my son not knowing if he'd survive, hands that have raised my tiny miracle, hands that feed the lost and forgotten, hands that raise up others instead of tearing them down, hands that are folded in prayer every night, and most of all hands that create beautiful work to bring happiness to others....
