Sorry to hear that. I lost a forty-year-old nephew to a rare cancer three weeks ago. It's been a tough year.
 
I'll be out for a while. Knee replacement surgery is the 20th but before that (17th) cardiology will insert a small recording device into my chest (because of the TIA). Preparing for it all has been exhausting. :rose:

well, I'm back. They cancelled surgery two hours before it was to start. Apparently the tiny monitor they implanted last Friday recorded inconsistencies in my heart that are serious enough that surgery was too risky. :(

Isn't the primary reason for going there? Of course I will. Yes, there will be lots of art and history between meals/courses but food and wine are IT!
 
Something in Majolica? Like a ceramic chicken toothpick holder for your kitchen? Kitchens should all have ceramic chickens . . .

These were made (badly) in Italy. They might be too large for hand luggage. That's a meter long level in the background of the second pic.
