It might have been more advantageous to have the questions beforehand than the answers. Politicians need to spin an answer in order to play to their base, fit ideology or policy, but they hate to be surprised by an unexpected question. Trump isn't a politician and he's unpolished in statecraft, but I don't detect the hatred for traditional America in him, as I do the left. I think he loves his country more than the UN or the international order the left promotes. His brashness and foibles aside I think his heart is in the right place and instinctively understands the problems government has created for society and what to do about them. So I'm going to tune out his bullshit and watch what he actually does.
