The bottom line on Donna Brazile for me is that she legitimately is toast and her political career possibly is justifiably over (but who knows in today’s political climate?) for sharing insider information she shouldn’t have as a CNN commentator and lying about it, but that, by publicly acknowledging the misdeeds and apologizing for them, she stands head and shoulders over Donald Trump—and that’s most likely why she bit the bullet and fell on the sword—to show a petulant, juvenile pathological liar what you should do when you’ve done wrong.

I don’t blame her, in her DNC capacity, for working for an actual Democrat and against an interloper trying to be a spoiler and steal a party apparatus he hadn’t earned. But she was wrong to share proprietary CNN information with anyone outside CNN and then for lying about it.

The message here is for and about Donald Trump, though.
