Meh. I prefer my oatmeal brown sugar raisin "cookies" pre-baked and with milk. In a bowl. For breakfast. Steel cut for the win, none of that steamrollered stuff.
But, if we have to choose a fav cookie, divinity fudge hands down.
Just high maintenance.

The raisins kill it for me. Oatmeal chocolate chip is my goto cookie but unfortunately, most stores sell fucking Oatmeal raisin cookies.
There's a Baker's Harvest nearby that makes these huge Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. They're crispy around the edge but chewy at the center. They make them with pieces of walnuts mixed in.
I have a cousin that's an awesome cook/baker. She makes them with white chocolate chips & macadamia nuts. They're extra chewy.
So...you're an antique.![]()
It is perfectly ok to call me old and fat, I don't mind. But, you have to realize that with age comes extended maintenance. Which usually costs quite a bit since any warranty often expired many many many moons ago.
(FWIW, there's a link to my publishers bio page with a pic in my profile to verify that I AM old and fat.)
Gimme a spicy ginger snap.
Raisins only belong in stuffing.
Are best enjoyed with Goobers at a Saturday matinee. Guess I'm old school.Raisinettes?
