I keep falling asleep
You know there are some shows you watch and you say to yourself, "I sure am glad they haven't invented smell-o-vision yet.".

I have been watching taboo on the BBC and enjoying it somewhat. It's the last episode this weekend.
knew you;d appreciate him, and i think the bill sykesalike thing must have been quite deliberate on the part of the producersDitto. Delaney is so sexy. A cross between Heathcliff and Bill Sykes.
I was wondering, "why are they talking about Tom Hardy and Bill Sykes?"
The 1970s film was my favorite, so I was thinking that guy- not sexy to me.
Then I did a little google and learned that Tom Hardy played Bill in a mini-series!
Is it a musical? Is there singing!?! Does Tom Hardy sing!?!?!?!
tom hardy seems to have beefed up for this role - or maybe just grown older and more man than boy![]()
The episodes would be 15 minutes shorter if they just eliminated all the scenes where people are simply walking from place to place.
The big difference between this show and a similarly "I don't always know what's going on" show like Mr. Robot is that at least on Mr. Robot I'm usually invested in the characters. Taboo has way too many characters, and everybody except maybe the actress/widow seems to be some level of reprehensible.
Between this and The Revenant, I'm having trouble remembering what Tom Hardy actually looks like.

Have you seen Frontier, the Jason Momoa drama about the Hudson Bay Company in colonial Canada? it's offered by Canadian Netflix. I've seen the first season by casting it from my phone to the TV. Kinda interesting as well.
He's actually pretty short for a leading man, but it's very well disguised. You're never saying to yourself, "Shouldn't Bane be at least six feet tall?"
I haven't, but I heard some positive things -- also, if I'm not mistaken, that it's pretty violent (not that I necessarily mind that).
