After Four Glorious Weaks of Trump, I can't wait to see what he starts with in weak Five!

His Minions sent a warning to Prince Charles not to give him any shit about Global Warming or Climate Change because Trumpy just might go ballistic, and it wouldn't be good for Trump's reputation if the British Public wasn't turning out in throngs to see the glorious leader next June.

Perhaps the Queen should just tell Trump to stay home if he can't be civil?

Why the 25th Amendment is suddenly getting so much attention

So, what’s Article 4 to the 25th Amendment? In the abstract, the amendment itself is about presidential succession, and includes language about the power of the office when a president is incapacitated. But Digby recently highlighted the specific text of growing relevance:

“Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”

A Pence push could remove the "Barking Mad Trupanzy."

I'm not sure what else the Republicans need to just get on with it. Trump has set it up perfectly for them getting what they wanted in the first place.

Presidential historian predicts Trump’s term will last less than 200 days — the second shortest ever

Pence knows how to play “hard ball” and it is clear by his demeanor and body language that he is often uncomfortable with Trump’s freewheeling and careless behavior. An investigation into the Flynn matter will develop, with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promoting it. Additionally, Senators John Cornyn of Texas, Roy Blunt of Missouri, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and John McCain of Arizona all are pushing for hearings. As the FBI investigates this situation further, which would be expected to occur as a normal procedure after such a high level and immediate scandal, the earliest ever in any Presidential term (25 days), there will be calls for Trump to resign or be impeached.

Do it Mikey, push the Trumpanzy out of office in disgrace, no pension, no library, no end to the court room attacks. Do it Mikey!

‘Insurmountable’: Morning Joe says Trump’s Russia lies may have already sunk his presidency

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough on Monday suggested that it may already be too late for Donald Trump to save his presidency due to the “insurmountable” Russian scandal.

Reflecting on a Reuters report about three separate Justice Department investigations into Trump’s ties to Russia, Scarborough compared the scandal to President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

“You actually look at Donald Trump saying, ‘I have not had any ties with Russia, I’ve had no business dealings with Russia,'” the MSNBC host observed. “And he just says that point blank. I think, these stories that come out, I think the political problems that follow — if there are all these front businesses — are insurmountable.”

According to Reuters, the FBI has opened at least three investigations related to Russia’s meddling in the 2016 U.S. election. The Pittsburgh field office is looking into breaches of the Democratic National Committee’s computer systems and the San Francisco office is probing emails that were stolen from Clinton campaign manager John Podesta.

And so the Republican Establishment offers an excuse to Dump Trump for Pence, exactly as planned!

And it's Only Monday!

Pastor walks out on Trump’s ‘demonic’ Florida rally: ‘My 11-year-old daughter was sobbing in fear’

Joel Tooley, lead pastor at First Church Of The Nazarene in Melbourne, said that both he and his daughter were traumatized after attending President Donald Trump’s rally in Florida over the weekend.

In a lengthy Facebook post written after Trump’s Saturday rally, Tooley explains that he had not supported the Republican presidential candidate but he felt that attending a presidential speech would be a good civics lesson for his daughter.

Tooley writes that he was disturbed by the “almost church-like” way Trump supporters sang Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA.

“People were being ushered into a deeply religious experience…and it made me completely uncomfortable,” the pastor recalls. “I felt like people were here to worship an ideology along with the man who was leading it. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t the song per se – it was this inexplicable movement that was happening in the room. It was a religious zeal.”

I have been in places and experiences before where demonic activity was palpable. The power of the Holy Spirit of God was protecting me in those moments and was once again protecting me and my daughter in this moment.

I raised my voice and calmly said, “These ladies have the right to do what they are doing and they are harming no one; this is America and they a right to express themselves in this way. They are harming no one.” A couple of other people around me stepped in and supported me in protecting them as a barrier, as well.

A pastor of a chiurch brought his 11 year old daughter to the Florida Trump rally/2020 election cycle kickoff , to give her the experience of seeing the POTUS in person.

It did not turn out, like he had planned.

On his Facebook-

“I realized then that we were not listening to someone presidential, we were listening to someone terribly powerful,” He said

gsgs comment- I have made remarks, about how Trump rallies are much like church services at mega churches and TV ministry programs. I have refered to the fueling of stress and excitement. Why play Rolling Stones songs at these ralles ? The Rolling Stones used choirs in ther songs to express religious exhaltation! The churning of anger and hatred, the eventual release and venting of pent up anger and hatred. The similarity between Trump rallies and Hate rallies cited in the book, 1984. Reinforcement of love of Big Brother, hatred for those that opposed him.A church of hate disguised as a political rally. That is what the pastor and his daughter witnessed. Love for Trump, and hatred for those that oppose Trump.

"What she WILL remember is the angry, violent man screaming demonic vitriol at a child and her mother. She will remember the two ladies screaming at her Dad, her pastor – flipping the middle finger and using the F word repeatedly."

"Now, I know there are people who are convinced that I am jaded and cannot fairly give this man a fair chance. Perhaps that's true. But please remember, especially those of you who know me well, I am a student of culture and human behavior. I am not a stubborn, close minded individual who likes to stick to the status quo. I know there are people who long for me to see the good things about this President and to talk about THOSE things. I know there are people who want me to realize that not everything he is doing is bad and that every President has their strengths and weaknesses and…"

"I know there are people who, when they see these words and hear my thoughts will feel badly because perhaps they can't like me as much as they once did because they don't agree with me. They want me to like the President that they like – they want me to see him the way they see him."

"I'm sorry. I cannot. You see, the angry, F-word-spewing man is what has been depended on throughout this campaign and is the one who is still being counted on to sustain the message. I tried."

‘Leaving him alone can prove damaging’: Staffers warn Trump needs constant praise and limit on TV

The in-person touch is also important to keeping Trump from running too hot. One Trump associate said it’s important to show Trump deference and offer him praise and respect, as that will lead him to more often listen. And If Trump becomes obsessed with a grudge, aides need to try and change the subject, friends say. Leaving him alone for several hours can prove damaging, because he consumes too much television and gripes to people outside the White House.

With Trump’s wife and son living in New York, staffers speculate that the president may have difficulty overcoming his obsession with negative coverage anytime soon.

Beside someone has to wipe the drool off his chins! :)

Pence is an a friend of mine, I know Pence. He's a great guy. The liberal media is blowing this out of proportion like they always do. I can't even sleep without CNN calling me lazy! This is fake news! Sad!

...You would really want Mike "Electroshock your love of cock" pence in fucking office, when he has a hardline of religion and moral views even more-so than donald?

No, I didn't think I would (be more content with Pence as president than Trump), and I posted as much before the election, but now I think it is the lesser of two big problems. Trump has shown himself to be erratic crazy (as in mentally over the edge). There's just no telling what he'll do minute to minute.

He has views, but that's different from taking action. His actions as governor show that he can moderate his position.

‘Blow me!’: Seth Meyers scorches Trump’s ‘cruel and unnecessary’ immigration policy changes

Seth Meyers on Wednesday hit Donald Trump over his administration’s latest immigration police changes, at one point encouraging lawmakers to “stand up to Trump” and “take a cue from [him] and say, ‘blow me.’”

The Department of Homeland Security issued a new memo regarding the president’s immigration policy that drastically expanded the “priorities for removal” by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and established a new office to assist victims of crimes by undocumented immigrants.

Colbert mocks Trump booster Alex Jones: ‘He knows what it sounds like when a monkey f*cks a football’

The Late Show host then played a montage of Jones ranting about Sandy Hook conspiracy theories and insisting his show sounds like “a monkey doing you-know-what with a football.”

“So, to recap: one of the counselors to the president knows what it sounds like when a monkey f*cks a football,” Colbert concluded.

Eclectic bunch ain't they?

:D:D:D

John Boehner Admits 'Repeal And Replace' For Obamacare Is All 'Happy Talk'

This may be an Alt-Alt-fact?
The host asked, "Are the Republicans going to do it any differently than the Democrats did?"

Boehner replied, "I think it's going to be a work in progress," he said.

“Most of the framework of the Affordable Care Act is going to stay there."

He continued, "Coverage of kids age 26, covering those with preexisting conditions, all of that's going to be there. Subsidies will be there."

He thought the states would be allowed to run their own exchanges if they so desired.

Boehner also believed the ACA shouldn't be too difficult to fix. OK, then.

But he added, "Except for this. In the twenty five years I spent in Congress, Republicans never ever, one time agree on what a healthcare proposal should look like. Not once."

"Happy Talk"= Bullshit:)

Had enough of the PB.

Immigration screed and deportation forces all the fascist fuckheads can jerk off to on their own.

Keep up the good fight Listers.

White House violated restrictions when it asked FBI to kill Trump-Russia stories: CNN

President Donald Trump’s White House staff urged the FBI to walk back reports about alleged communications between the Trump team and Russia, according to CNN.

The report reveals multiple U.S. officials briefed on the request verified the request. The FBI was the intelligence agency responsible for monitoring conversations by Russian officials while they were in the United States. It was through those communications that Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn was caught allegedly talking about the sanctions then-President Barack Obama placed on Russia after the Russian hacks.

CNN reports that communication like this was unusual because there have been restrictions in place for decades prohibiting such contacts. The request is a violation of procedures that limit such communication between the two. FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus sat in on a meeting together the day after the story broke that Trump staff allegedly had regular communication with the Russians. A U.S. law enforcement official told CNN that it was during this meeting that Priebus requested the FBI walk back the reports.

Strike two, Reince.

Are you fucking kidding me Xbox Sim pilot?! Your ilk are the ones that need to just get on with it. You LOST! Get on with it. We put up peacefully with your failed candidate and policies for way too long.
You people preach peace and tolerance as long as it agrees with what you say. But everyone else be shamed, shouted down if you don't. And you just might block streets and freeways for the fuck of it or burn innocent people's houses or businesses. For an educated person, you have absolutely no common sense or decency.

How Bad Did Trump Just Screw Transgender Kids? Well What Had Happened Was!

We reported at you Wednesday that the Trump regime was about to rescind the nice guidance the Obama administration had issued on how to be nice to transgender kids and let them pee in peace and not get beat up in school. This was very important for Trump to do, because you see, a lot of religious bigots got behind his candidacy, even though he is a thrice-married adulterer who grabs chicks by the pussy, so he has to pay them back for their loyalty. It’s also important because OUR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS!

In Wednesday’s post, we also reported that Education Secretary Betsy DeVos had surprisingly fought against Attorney General Jeff Sessions’s deep and abiding desire to hurt LGBT people, that she didn’t want to go along with the Trump regime’s order, and that she had pushed for it to have more inclusive language. It was a pleasant surprise to hear! It’s not like we now think DeVos is going to be a good Education secretary or anything, but we’re glad to learn she may not be the raging bigot the rest of her family is on LGBT issues.

Not good enough.

We want to believe Betsy DeVos when she says she believes in equality and wants to protect LGBT kids, we really do. But in this regime, in order for us to do that, we need to see action, not vaguely worded platitudes. In other words, if DeVos wants to be a lone champion for LGBT equality in a hateful, retrograde administration, she might have to march her ass over to the Department of Justice and kick Jeff Sessions right in his dick, then march over to the White House and tell Donald Trump that Jeff Sessions just got kicked in the dick by a girl, therefore he should be fired for being a pussy. :D:D Then maybe she can help steer Trump toward not being a monster toward the gays and the BLTs.

We’ll be watching!

Tough words from the Wonkette! I'll bet Trump is shitting his nickers now! :)

I am getting on with it--I'm helping to keep Trump's vileness from being swept under the carpet and I'm helping keep your face shoved in your accompanying vileness in supporting him and trying to ignore reality. That seems to give you heartburn. Good. :)
