Political spammers, what, not getting good sex

Just looking at the number of inappropriately posted topics on the General board, and there were 17 topics on the first page alone that are purely political. Looking further, there were only four viewers on the political board.

My question then, shouldn't we just delete the political thread, since it seems the political types insist on spamming the General Board anyway?

Many people didn't want the Political Board when it was set up as a response to complaints about too many political threads on the General Board.

The Political Board has much lower traffic and visibility. Political posters, like most people posting on Literotica, want to be read, not hidden away.

Placing a few individuals on ignore, and their latest alts, will make your experience more enjoyable.

Heavy use of iggy cleared up the GB of many political threads when Obama was in. But now I would have to iggy many I actually agree with and are not trolls to clear board of political titles.

Heavy use of iggy had zero effect on political board. Trolls don't post on the PB. Neither do raving liberals though.

Nice to have a GB lounge without political threads.

You might want to calm down and take a breath, considering I have started no other political threads but this one. It's simply annoying that it starts looking like that spam attack advertising some shitty product last night (good job moderators in cleaning that up, by the way).

My question was simply, if only four people were using/viewing the political board, and they INSIST on using the General board (17 threads on the first page alone) why not just delete the political board? It's just a simple question!

The fringe right whackadoodles haven't changed much over the years (poor formed arguments, truckloads of logical fallacies, personal attacks, and playing the perpetual beleagured victim).

What's changed is the response from my side of the aisle. Back in the early days we had folks like pp_man and redwave, two guys who could overlook the boorish behavior of the Ishmaels and AJs. Sadly both peeps and redwave are gone now. I remember when I first started posting in the political threads, everyone on the right was shocked....SHOCKED...that librul Rob refused to turn the other cheek when they took personal shots at me. Whaddya mean he got upset just because we questioned his patriotism? Derp, Derp, Derp.

When Miles and Karen came along, things got exponentially worse. Those two took it as a personal insult anytime you disagreed with them, and that attitude spread throughout Wingnuttia.

Lately, more than a few people have noticed the rather new tactic of the wingnut's trying to issue a pre-emptive derpstrike to avoid criticism: "Here's an article proving the Negro race is defective, of course the libs will be along to criticize the source any minute now". Ishmael does this most often now.

I've said it before, they're not interested in discussing issues. They're all about the bait, bout the bait...
