I agree that Clinton was a bad candidate. But she was far better than Trump who was an abysmally horrific candidate. He doesn't read, speaks without facts and lies when the facts don't support him.

He lied to build up the fear level especially around immigrants, crime and terrorism despite their being no validity to those claims.

The reality is that right wingers hate liberals more than they hate anything else including crime, fiscal prudence, the constitution, terrorism, and even basic competence.

But you are right about the benefit being people getting involved in politics.

-Voters are concerned by the implications of Trump's fight with the Judiciary.

...Trump voters have evidently had enough of the Constitution and those pesky checks and balances though- 51% of them think he should personally be able to overturn decisions he doesn't agree with, to only 33% who dissent.

There was an OPPORTUNITY to bring about Jefferson's implied second American Revolution, and it was sacrificed on the altar of entitlement. If it was possible to do a Vulcan mind-meld between Bernie and Joe Biden.... but that's just my Kumbaya acting up...
