Hi guys,

I've posted this thread in story ideas but someone suggested I post it here as I might get a better response.

I'll start from the top.

I have read a few stories on here but one that had me hooked was that of Jammy Jimmy:- "Threads: The Island". Not one book had affected me like this one has and it's clawed its way into my mind and heart and I'm craving a sequel to this. I'm sure many of you know the story line as it's one of the all time best reads on here. If not here's a link to it:

https://www.literotica.com/s/threads-the-island

With respect to the other authors and readers I just feel that there's so many books to Follow this one as the story line was amazing and it carried such passion, romance and detail but never falling out of proportion and by that I mean it was always edge of your seat stuff and not once did I feel bored reading it. If anything I would always look forward to my next read.

It came to my attention that Jammy Jimmy had commented saying that he was currently writing about the next in line however that was all the way back in 2012 and I haven't seen or heard anything from him since.

I'm sorry if this isn't much of a story idea or if I have posted it in the wrong place, but I gathered that for those who have read Threads: The Islands would understand and agree with me that the story cannot end there and there is so much potential to this story. I could imagine possibly 5 more entries to it. It's one of the all time greatest books on here and there must be someone who can carry on the story! Not only was the romance so powerful but the storyline was something to be admired for me.

So please I really am so upset that the story has ended with the first book and I beg that someone could follow it up or even find out what's happened to Jammy Jimmy and if he's writing anymore. It sounds a little pathetic but that book brought back my passion for reading books and I feel lost that it hasn't carried on it's such a waste if it stays there. I seem to develop a relationship with characters and I just felt like it ended so openly so as to say a sequel was there just waiting to be written.

A sequel must happen and with the vast amount of wonderful authors on here I really do hope that one can forward the story or possibly find Jammy Jimmy.

In the story ideas section some said about maybe privately writing a sequel to it so as not to be frowned upon or even write something inspired by Jammy Jimmy but it just wouldn't be the same for me. His storyline and hooks really were the bees knees for me and I just don't know what to suggest but I'm truly devastated. Again it sounds silly but not once has a book affected me like this and not once has anything brought back a need and love for reading as this did to me.

Please help me.

I feel for you, as your response to this story is obviously heartfelt, but there's a very strong feeling amongst writers here that unless you get explicit permission from the original writer to continue their story, it's considered pretty poor taste to do so. See this thread:

http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=1391968

One school of thought blabs on about the legality of doing it, copyright blah blah blah. Another school of thought considers the ethics of doing it, without permission (most writers do not like the idea of someone else running off with their characters).

A third school of thought wonders why any writer would want to continue somebody else's ideas and not write their own.

Somebody might step forward, but if it ain't Jammy Jimmy, it's not going to be the same, is it? Prepare to be disappointed.

That's the thing now. I haven't heard from this guy nor does anyone seem to know about him. Just lost since 2012. I don't want anyone else to carry it on but him but right now that seems like an impossibility šŸ˜ž

Authors come and go. Some it's real life getting in the way. Some just walk away leaving there stuff abandoned. Some die without notice.

Whatever the reason, there's not much you can do about it. Sorry.

Did you try his e-mail listed on his blog? http://jammyjimmy.********.com/

I think he is MIA there as well. At least that's what someone told me a few months when they reached out. They said there was no response through the blog.

Then assuming I read the story they offered me a commission to write more to it and I told them I'd never read it, had no interest and even for pay would not pick up another person's story.

This isn't the first I've seen on this one and its the number one all time story in incest with damn near 20k votes(legit votes scouries) but fact is....get over it people its over and done with.

I have in fact emailed him directly but to no avail. I'll have a look at that story finisher thank you! Sorry for being a Noob but what's MIA?

MIA = Missing in Action. In other words, nobody's heard from him in quite some time, and no one knows the reason why. :)

Ahh ok. With regards to this I have indeed messaged FinishTheDamnStory and I'm awaiting a reply. In any other case does anyone know of anyone still active on here that possibly knew Jammy Jimmy? Often on forums people tend to know some other regulars personally, just trying to get through to the guy. I get the story has been left for now but I won't give up on such an enthralling story, not when it's affected me this much.

I wouldn't get your hopes up with FTDS. He tends to stay close the LW section and turn RACCs (reconciliation stories) into BTBs (Burn the Bitchs).

I doubt he'd be interested in trying to do something with this one. It's practically a novel so it would need a very substantial follow up.

Then there is the problem of laurel rejecting it. She doesn't much like other people messing with other authors stuff.

With that in mind then do you think the admin of literotica could help at all? Even seeing if Jammy Jimmy had another email or means to contact? So upset the story looks to be done.

As far as i know, the only e-mail Lit has is the one you register with.

Oh I see. I think I might have found him on white pages but cannot access his details because I'm not in the US :/

Please remove the link. It violates Lits policy of personal information.

Yes he takes stories written by other authors who because its their story and characters wrote it the way they anted to which apparently is to have husbands and wives rekindle their love and turn them into revenge stories where women are brutally abused, raped and tortured to get his rocks off as a woman hater.

Many of these stories he has no permission to finish, he just does it and as jas been discussed here many times its unethical as hell which is why you don't see him coming here talking about it anymore, but it seems he has a nice racket going with readers who are so obsessed with fictional stories they just can't live without someone else continuing them for their pleasure and fuck the original author.

This topic whenever it comes up is pathetic and sickening.

Having said that I would be more than happy to write a custom story for finishthedamnstory but I bet he wouldn't like it.

Well on that note it looks like my only hope is JJ :/ such a shame because at the start of the story in his notes he says that he's already written 3 more and a fourth is on it's way. Whether that means he already has the next books or not is beyond me. I'm determined to find him though.

He may have decided to sell them instead of giving them away for free.

I've literally searched the whole internet for him and cannot find him. It's as if he's been wiped off the face of the earth :( no books nothing on any sites about selling any either. Someone must know something :/

Hmm, you seem to be moving toward stalking. If the author wanted to be found, there would be contacts available. If the author wanted to finish the story line for free read and was in the condition to be able to do so, it would have been finished. If you'd made sure the story was finished before beginning to read it, you wouldn't have gotten lost in it. There are other stories to be read--but I suggest, since you put so much energy into seeing an end, that you not begin one that doesn't assure you it has been finished.

I'm definitely not stalking him. He's not on the internet then fine I can't do much. He said he had a short follow up too and hasn't come about for 5 years it's a little strange don't you think? It's not so much about the story ending but more so how it ended. Just too openly for my liking to leave a book ended there.

Not for Lit., no. Not at all strange. Not committed to anything here.

Nothing strange about it at all. Death, disarray, disorder; it happens to the best of us.

Maybe the writer got what they wanted from writing and publishing here on Lit, and moved on. Maybe they started a new job, a family, a business, became time poor. Maybe they hitch-hiked across Africa, who knows. Maybe something else became more important to them than writing.

Who knows what motivates people to write. I'm a writer here (but not in real life) and even I don't really know why I write what I do. But I am beholden to no-one. I might stop tomorrow, I might get hit by a truck tomorrow. It's life, nothing strange or mysterious about that.

That's fair enough I'm just a reader who really wanted more. If he's gone on to do other things now then I can't stand in his way. I was just very eager to find him.
