Say what you will about George W. Bush, he was extremely gracious post-presidency. He absolutely refused to comment or criticize the new administration because he understood the challenges of the job.
Barry is being disgraceful, in my opinion. He had his chance. He did what he felt was best. The people rejected his vision for the country. It really was a stunning defeat for his heir apparent and a third term for Obama. He should not be publicly commenting on the new administration. It's not helpful. His own words are coming back to haunt him. "Elections have consequences". "If you want to change things, win an election".
I feel he should keep quiet. We listened to him for eight years, We've heard enough.

He said he would speak if he felt our core values were threatened. Indeed it looks like they could be. Get over it.

No, they didn't. They endorsed it twice. And W was properly obliged to shut up because he left office in shame and disgrace, leaving a mess of ruination behind him, which Obama did not.

Perhaps Obama has found the balls to do what he was too afraid to do in his Presidency. But I understand he no longer needs to worry about a Corporate Constituency. He can start a Foundation and live high on the skim and his "Rubber Chicken Speeches" for the rest of his life.

I think Obama has left ruination. His fecklessness and lack of leadership in the Middle East has lead to unprecedented destabilization and the pursuant refugee "crisis". His treaty with Iran may yet prove to be disastrous. He increased our deficit by 68% over G.W. Bush.

The people had a chance to endorse it by electing HRC, which would likely have been similar to a third Obama term, but they elected to go in a different direction.

W's economic mess made the spending necessary -- made, in fact, necessary a great deal more spending than Congress actually let Obama do -- and I cannot see a single way Obama might have handled Iran or anything in the MENA any bit better than he did.

That may be true. The most harmful thing he did in the Middle East was when he stated a line in the sand in Syria and the failed to act. It harmed the Syrian situation and Made us look weak to our enemies. That was dreadful. Maybe he had no good option. He's supposed to be the smartest man(doubtful). He should have said that.

This is true. But Cheney wouldn't shut the fuck up.

Obama is a citizen with the same rights as you and me. Don't like what he has to say, feel free to ignore it.
