I mean, the dude has some appealing qualities, like:
- at least some reverence for his Creator
- he's not a flat-out baby killer
- he's got some of that Hoosier hospitality/down homeness thing going on for him
But, still: there's always been something evil about the guy that my spiritual discernment always radars out. And yesterday, reading a piece reporting on his participation in the March of Life, it all became clear to me as the writer included a tidbit about how Pence describes himself religiously...
He refers to himself as an "evangelical Catholic". Mike Pence is a friggin' papist.
Which totally explains that evil, that deviousness, that veiled disingenuousness I recognize in him as he speaks to an audience or just stands behind Trump nodding smugly as if everything's right now in Constantine's world.
And now I'm beginning to wonder, since I also read yesterday a writer report that Trump claims some degree of "Presbyterian", and I also have humongous spiritual discernment issues with him, if Trump's really a papist, too, in his own calvinist way?
And, now that I really think about it, the fact Trump didn't ban new refugees from Catholic countries from entering the US is sorta solid proof of both his and his Vice President's despicable brand of papist Phariseeism.
America can only be great again once most of the papists are gone - we don't need that white European "Christian" evil here any more than their mid eastern terrorist Muslims cousins.
