In Trump's visit to the CIA to tell everyone how great they are, how no one has more respect for what they do than he does (after he railed against them throughout the campaign and more recently when revelations broke about the blackmail videos), it has to come light he took a page from Kim Jun Un's playbook.

At the meeting the first three rows of people were nothing but plants, people specifically invited to the event who, for obvious reasons, cheered his Orangutanness.

But as is always the case, the real people of the CIA knew what was going on and made pains to explain to the press the charade Trump had pulled. They even mentioned how uncomfortable it was to hear him whine in front of the monument to fallen CIA agents about how unfairly the press was treating him rather than honor those who lost their lives trying to protect this country (one or two, no doubt, who died as a result of Dick Cheney outing Valerie Plame when she was an undercover CIA agent).

If a foreign government attempting, and apparently succeeding, to sway a U.S. election is no big deal to you then quite obviously you're not a true American. News often manipulate public opinion through subtle words.
Depending on how you phrase the report, same event becomes two completely different things.

The ideal news in the ideal world whould be impartial. But they are all opinionated today. It's not like it's limited only by the President or Press secretary. No. In fact, they should not deliver their personal opinions at all. They shouldn't call any situation "horrible", "ridiculous", or "marvelous". They should tell you the news and let you decide how ridiculous or horrible they were.

Sadly, that's not the case. You criticize north-Korean news for being too ideological and ass-licking towards their leader, how they brainwash their audience - yet this is essentially the same thing with US news. They too manipulate opinions a lot, the only differenct they are "free press" and thus think they can have opinions that ridicule the government.

You’ve probably never had an ex wife or girl friend, I have and some of them are down right uncivil. I don’t invite my ex to any function I go to. As far as Obama, you probably were asleep when the Obama’s went to South Africa for the late Presidents funeral and that picture of him and the lady form I believe Germany and the look Mrs. Obama gave him. At a state funeral of all things. Even Clinton never did that. I’m surprised she didn’t back hand him. As for his respect for women, remember he signed a law saying that men, and they don’t even have to have a history of being transgender, can go into a women’s rest room with little girls there or into women’s locker rooms and showers. No, I’m not a pot head. The Obama’s showed even before they were in the White House that they were racists by being a member of the so called Rev. Wright’s group. I agree with you here. It is a wonder she got away with it, especially after Clinton and Obama had shown the white flag to the terrorist. He was put in an embarrassing spot by the CIA and the military. Former CIA Deputy Director Philip Mudd on Tuesday slammed Donald Trump’s “disgusting” speech to CIA officials over the weekend, telling CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, he almost wanted to cry after the president’s self-aggrandizing presentation.

On CNN’s “The Situation Room,” Blitzer asked Mudd to comment on Trump’s speech Saturday, wherein the president focused almost exclusively on his “running war with the media,” and what he perceives as unfair coverage of his inauguration crowd size.

“I mean there’s a sense of outrage, but there’s also such a sense of sadness,” Mudd added. “Those aren’t stars, Wolf, those are people.”

“We have a president who has to talk about how many times he’s been on a Time Magazine cover in comparison to a football player,” Mudd later added. “He has to talk about how many people showed up at his inauguration. He’s got to talk about how many people in the CIA enjoyed his speech. That’s what we get to honor the people who lost their lives.”
