Almost six years later and Obama is still waging war in Libya

The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner formally began his overt military attack against Libya with offshore cruise missile strikes on March 19, 2011. Overnight, during one of his last days in Office, two B-2s from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri continued Obama's war on Libya with a round-trip bombing run.

When Obama first struck Libya caliphatic ISIS did not exist, but his contributions to Libya's structural demise began arming their creation while also arming other jihadis in the then-growing war against Assad in Syria - lethal weapons freed by the Islamic anarchy resulting from Obama's direct military assault against Libya.

Ironic, isn't it then, that the caliphatic entity Obama had such a hand in creating - ISIS - was the target of his latest war action in Libya last night?

America bombing another country again and the vast majority of Americans not even caring.

U.S. Bombs ISIS Camps in Libya

The Pentagon’s Africa Command announced on Dec. 19 the official end of air operations against the Islamic State, also known by the acronyms ISIS or ISIL, in Surt, the group’s coastal stronghold, after conducting 495 strikes against truck bombs, heavy guns, tanks and command bunkers there.

But the need to carry out additional strikes reflected the resilience of the Islamic State in Libya. While the group was driven out of Surt last month, the Islamic State still has several hundred fighters who have dispersed across Libya and pose a threat to the country, its neighbors and potentially Europe, according to American officials and the Africa Command.
