Reading a book on how to stop food cravings!

This can be just a massive sugar craving. Does it extend to carbs too?

It's kind of like a seafood diet. I see food and I eat it.:eek:

Maybe it's abandonment issues because parodyluvr doesn't post anymore. Maybe the talk of cookies triggered it?

Could be abandonment issues, who knows but you.

Carbs and sugar are a vicious cycle. Your body changes carb into sugars. The more you have the more you crave. It's a bitch.

my body craves, because it lacks nutrients. this is why i take a multi vitamin and a probiotic. once i started on a multivitamin and probiotic, my food cravings dropped. eating apples and oranges, and the occasional handful of nuts after 10pm, instead of shit, helps as well.

I think there is something to that. Small children not exposed to junk food but allowed to graze tend to eat a fairly balanced diet. During growth spurts they tend to crave dairy and protein.

I was watching some nutritionists on some kind of science-y show and they were in favor of less processed foods but realized that their clients tended to crave a lot of tasty, easy things that were not healthy for them. Their approach was to simply prescribe certain healthy, reasonably tasty things for the clients to eat and as they ate those things almost like they were taking their medicine, it tended to crowd the other things out. Eat enough high nutrition things, you run out of appetite for the junk.
 
I crave milk mostly. Every now and then nothing will suffice but a HUGE glass of white milk. Will even stoop to skim to satisfy the craving.

That is what I craved when I was pregnant. My husband said we should have bought a cow!
