Suppose that some friends and I have a scenario involving us as characters (no real names of course), and are looking to write a few short stories that happen inside the scope of this specific setting, a Christmas Party. More to the point, we're looking to see what interactions other writers might put us in, knowing only a little about each of us.

Where might it be appropriate to put out such a request? Not merely a story idea, but a request for a specific kind of story. I'm new here and I've looked around a little bit, read the rules on a few different forums, and while it didn't seem disallowed in many places, I wouldn't want to be frowned on for asking.

So I thought it would be safest to pose the question here. Any help at all is much appreciated.

My guess is you're going to get frowned on. It sounds to me like you all want to have group sex but you don't have a clue what to do. Is that about right?

I was afraid that might be the case. We're more interested to see who might end up with who, were our histories taken out of the equation. We do intend to write some of the stories, but thought it would be interesting to open it up to third parties as well.

Getting someone to write a story FOR you is nigh on impossible. If you and your friends wish to collaborate on a story of your own writing...
