I find it really amazing that some people actually believe this crap. There is a side article on the threats to Democracy and the way politicians used to keep control. What the writer either fails to realize or to remember is that the people he mentions were all Dems. Jim Crow and slavery before that were all Dem. principles, until Republicans and some Dems. brought them to a legal end in 1964.

Another side article decries the lack of "women of color" in the Trump gov. It's really too early to tell, but I would be willing to bet there will be more cabinet-level "women of color" in the Trump admin. than there were under Obama.

The mainstream media does not lie. If a newspaper like The New York Times or The Washington Post reports something that is not true it will print a retraction.

The mainstream media lost the confidence of the white majority when it did not report the truth about black crime, illegitimacy, and low average intelligence.

Blacks in the United States have a crime rate that is eight times the white rate and an illegitimacy rate that is three times the white rate. Blacks tend to perform poorly on all the mental aptitude tests however they are designed. They tend to perform poorly in school and in jobs requiring intelligence.

These facts have legitimate policy implications, especially on issues like affirmative action and race profiling. Nevertheless, the main stream media either does not draw attention to these facts, or it blames them on whites.

They dont defend things like feminism from b.s. right wing attacks or go after corporate malfeasance as much as they could. Newspapers are about news. It's mostly expressions of opinion, but I did fid it ludicrous that the writer tried to make light of the scandals of the Obama admin.

And the side articles are even more ridiculous. For instance, the writer disregards the fact it was GOP members of Congress that voted to overthrow Jim Crow, against the opposition of Dems. However, this important fact was ignored, unless the writer was unaware of it.
