Although his racism leaks through his posts, like his kumbaya patronising attitude towards them (they're as good as long as they don't go off the reservation), his atacks on those forum members who surclass "white" posters in terms of education and brains, or even more directly, like when he called a black poster's children "hood rats".

If you look at this from an over/under perspective it's not hard at all to see how dramatic this win was. Unless you are a devout Clintonista.

336 votes were never in dispute and neither candidate campaigned for, spent money on, nor flipped them.

Clinton started with 182 completely safe votes. Trump 154.

Clinton schemed, positioned herself, and campaigned for 10 years and eked out just 50 more electoral college votes, gaining all of those in strongly blue-leaning contests.

Trump, against all oddsmakers and polls got three times more electoral college votes in contested states. Just shy of 1/2 of his votes he had to win by competing for them. Less than 1/4 of Hillary's actual electoral college votes were gained in contested states.

Hillary was rejected by 3/4 of the electoral college that she competed for.

Good thing her team killed on rebounds and blocked shots and free-throw attempts. Who cares how many actual points she scored?

What smacks of desperation is clinging to the last shred of dignity that somehow pulling out an extra 4.3 million votes in a state that Trump didn't even bother to campaign in means something.

If the popular vote mattered at all, Both campaigns would have been run completely differently. Pretending that Clinton was running this campaign trying to win the popular vote is just silly; she's probably just as surprised as anyone that she won the 100% meaningless popular vote while losing the Electoral College.

A mandate represents the will of the people. If he didn't win the popular vote he doesn't have a mandate. It's really that simple.

Read the Constitution Zip. Specifically Article II, Section 1. The mandate for a president is the will of the states, not the people. As a matter of fact there is NO Constitutional requirement that the populace be allowed to vote for a president at all.
