In any trade or their people gain and people that lose Manufacturing in the US would gain consumers would obviously lose because they would have to pay more for goods.

China is not the only location on the planet with flavor and were cruel benefits Kelvin manufacturing plants. Walmart could get their goods elsewhere

If you think that inexpensive goods are China's sole domain, you should look at your smartphone or computer. China can turn to other geographies - note its foothold in Africa and South America - should they not be able to sell into the U.S. There would be dislocation on either side, but more so for us as the fixed assets are in China (not here).

ps - "elsewhere" sources from China. If you think Thailand can pick up the slack, you should be aware they don't have the manufacturing capacity. The only thing you've presented is a means through which the American consumer pays more for their goods.
