Snowed for three of the last four days here. Or, judging by the fact that the town plow going by has woken me out of a dead sleep twice already that I know of, today is four out of five. Everyday this work week, except Tuesday. And it's not even enough to really do anything with. Just enough to make me have to plow the end of my, and the neighbors', driveways from the mess the town guys left.
I suppose I shouldn't really complain. We had a pretty mild winter last year. We've probably already gotten more snow this winter than all of last.![]()
NYC here.
Cold this weekend. Anyone else ready for summer yet besides me?
Anybody up around Buffalo? Is there lots of snow?
Supposed to get up to eight inches here. I mean, I love eight inches as much as the next girl, but I prefer mine hot and hard, not cold and wet.![]()
Snow plows have been going by at 3am, 4am, 5am...

You ain't gotta tell me, brother. My house is about ten feet off the road. Fucking windows rattle every time those assholes go by at fifty miles an hour. Good times.
Long time no see, by the way. Hope you're well.![]()

There's no snow over here and we often don't get any at all, which is a shame from an 'I want to play in the snow!' angle, but I don't miss the traffic and life disruption!
Well I live in a 75 square mile town that has a population of a whopping 600 people. We don't even have traffic lights, so traffic is less of an issue. Problem here is they use sand instead of salt so that just results in a slick, muddy mess. I often forget I don't live on a dirt road until about mid-May.
I love the snow, provided I don't have to move it. And provided we don't get more than a foot at a time. Couple winters ago we ended up with four feet on the ground at once. Not fun slogging through that to feed the animals in the backyard.![]()

ihope you get the right 8 inches you truly need and not the other kind![]()

Thank you for not disappointing me by neglecting my innuendo like Mr. Fletch did.![]()

I only avoided making a comment about that because, truth be told, mine is 9 inches.![]()

Ooooh! Let's get married and run away from the snow together!![]()
Haha, can we fly instead of run? These snowstorms are huge!
*Giggles.* "Snowstorms", huh? Is that what you call them? And I'll just bet they're huge!![]()
Haha, I see what you did there. Even more reason to travel by vehicle instead of running. Things getting jostled around in the cold like that doesn't seem comfortable!

I knew you would. You'd never dream of disappointing me twice in such a short period of time.
Okay, vehicle is fine. I just don't like to fly. Unless you're offering to help me join the Mile High Club. I could make an exception for that.![]()
