It is strange when Rolling Stone scoops the WSJ, NY TImes and WaPo. The LSM is avoiding real journalism for click bait. Because they want to make money not inform the people of reality about how fucked they are by Rethuglicans and Democraps that cater to the Donor Class.

It is not the job of newspapers to 'educate' it's readers. Their job is to sell newspapers. Correctly 'informing' readers is just a hopeful by-product. Political bias has been a part of newspapers since the times of pamphlets and primitive broadsheets off the first printing presses.

A journalist can be likened to a production floor worker. High quality work is expected. High level decisions are not.

You are all missing the point that the "Fourth Estate" and freedom of the Press was not given as an economic boon to advertising but was earned by journalists making a contribution to society by holding Government, and others accountable.

The Mainstream media seems to have forgotten that role and sunk to where the NYT, WSJ, and WaPo are very little better than the National Enquirer. CNN and MSNBC seem to have lost all touch with reality of Journalism.
