My person isn't a friend, so that makes taking a hard line that bit easier. They are being so damn wriggly and trying to make me feel bad, but they are now getting to see my harder side. Probably a bit of a surprise for them.

Tomorrow one of the people I am seeing is the guy who made a pass at me a month ago. I told G I am annoyed and am more unsettled my his persistence that night than I should have been and G is surprised but said he both trusts me to deal with it and I can trust him to stop it if I do not. So I am sort of looking forward to it although I am also not, because tomorrow should be the end of it. I am really annoyed this unsettled me so very much.

I don't know that fear and doubt and mistrust makes people stupid. In recent years I've heard of people being told they were safe in the morning and then not in the afternoon, so for people to have recurring doubts is not so odd. It might be more stupid to blindly expect security for life in a career and trust too much!

We work in health insurance! Most of those scared of the rumors work in claims and customer service, which includes nurses answering questions from worried and sick individuals. They have been shown the numbers how much it would cost the company if they move ONE department overseas - the company would lose all benefits the state of NY gave them, especially when they openly and actively hired veterans.

One of the major source of the gossip is a butt hurt union, who were voted DOWN by the full time workers. Another source is another insurance company, who actually needs more employees.

Spent ~$125 on Christmas lights for outside (is that a lot? I think I unintentially bought the most expensive ones), and I can't get them to work. I think the outside outlet is busted or I need to find the secret light switch that turns it on. I've been trying on and off for the last couple hours trying to get those fuckers lit.

So far, nothing (and only one hour of the day left now!). Even a few minor setbacks that I've encountered today have encouraged me to find solutions that have ended up making the day even better.

It felt like that! And I broke the bulb in the plastic light up Santa for outside. I think my house is revolting against Christmas cheer

My scrubby thing totally fell apart on me today in the shower. Could they make these things a little cheaper? The kids at the gym are little snot-nosed bastards and I hate not being out in the country. It's now below freezing with snow though.

On a brighter note, I discovered (after two weeks) this pack of razors has a hinge that flips down to get under your nose. They don't even tell you on the package.

My personal laptop died today after having been on its death bed for months. Now I either have to buy a new one or get used to actually using my phone, which I generally hate. But I also hate getting used to a new laptop. Only bad options.

At least work laptop still works so that I can do my banking with it.
