We want you to have the most fun possible in our chat. To that end, we've established a few rules to ensure your safety and good time.

No one under the age of 18 is allowed in any area of Literotica, including the chat room. No underage roleplay (under 18 years of age, for the purposes of this site, which is hosted in the US.) is allowed. The CMs will boot and ban any minors on sight. The word of the users will be taken, as age can not be 100% verified on the Internet. Once a ban is installed, if the user continues to “sneak” in, their ISP will be notified. ISPs will be logged along with date and time of occurrence. There will be no warnings. Any chatter engaged in such discussion will be banned permanently and instantly. We will not reinstate these banned chatters, so please follow our rules.

Any chatter interested in discussing illegal activities - and/or creating rooms dedicated to such activities - will be banned instantly and permanently from Literotica Chat. This includes(but is not limited to) underage sexual activity (under 18 years of age, for the purposes of this site, which is hosted in the US.), snuff, extreme violent sexual abuse, and bestiality. We repeat - there will be no warnings. Any chatter engaged in such discussion will be banned permanently and instantly. We will not reinstate these banned chatters, so please follow our rules.

Advertising other sites or products, aka Spamming, will not be tolerated on any part of Literotica, including the chatroom. This activity is invasive, and interferes with the flow of chat.

The Chat Monitors, or CM's, are there for the good of the room. Their job is to make sure minors do not access the chat room, to make sure that spammers and scrollers do not ruin everyone's fun, and to keep out those who harass and/or threaten other chatters. They are NOT there to referee personal disagreements. They are also not there to be abused and mistreated. They volunteer their time to make the chat room a better place. But it appears to me that there are three streams of opinions in the GB:

1.Those who believe that insulting minority groups as a whole is unacceptable, whereas insulting on a 1:1 individual posters who belong to those groups is not as bad than that.

2.Those who think the opposite.

3.Those who think that neither is ok. But these are the posters who prefer to remain uninvolved and try to steer away from any type of conflict.
