The Dangers of Eye Contact

I remember you - or at least your root alt, query - sharing more personal anecdotes on the HT. All seemed well received, with little incident.

You've also mentioned that you've not had much, if any, troubles when posting under your other alts.

Do you suppose the multiple accounts contributed to the issues experienced when posting as query? Maybe there is more to it than that, or a history I don't know about, but all of it seems muddied and weird with the multiple user IDs.

No, the inverse. Query was trolled hard and I found it amusing to leave them throwing spitballs at Query while I simply switched over to Conager and enjoyed the rest of my day. Que wasn't an alt, just a name change, main root account. The alt came after the conflict

Someone has gotta help me out here. My naivete is showing. I don't get the joke.

I would bring much enlightenment unto you, regarding this matter, but I would have to thereafter report myself in order to be in harmonious convergence with the rules.

Just send a Goddamn PM for crying out loud...

Brown eye contact can many times be the most dislodging of all eye contacts, especially when canines are involved. Very knotty issue, that. Or so I've been told.

Ick. Now I want to go have another bath.

If I am going to go German, it's not going to be Shepherd.

Why do I still get surprised by this kind of thing.

Let change the topic to why dont you change your name to Aphrodisiac.

I Miss Lillith. What ever happened to her?

And what about the other dog fucker, Sagitarrean (or something like that)? She was unapologetic about it, so she was only trolled for a day or two. Lillith was tortured for months, maybe years.

Conager, when there was a potential for him to be outted, I simply acknowledged rather than denying, because it was getting a little complicated, and it put the lie to the accusations that all the idiotic alts that were clearly not me, were me trolling myself or somehow some Cade- style double game. Koeniger was shown to be exactly how I described him in Des' thread inquiring about alts.

Let's give him the fig leaf of calling him "Cade." Cade created the idiotic and boring Darbinger alt because I had mused aloud about the idea of creating an alt with a foreign accent. He campaigned hard in the paint for 1000 + posts trying to some help in that lame effort on me.

Of little use it was, my good friend, due to the facility of ease with which I have been known by all to voice in a manner more pleasing unto the ear than his effort of lameness was received here amongst us!

I've never been attached to a particular handle if I'm interacting, I'm interacting if I'm enjoying the interaction I'm enjoying it. If other people are or are not that's their experience, but it doesn't substantially change because my handle has.

It kind of amuses me the year-long effort to try to convince people that somehow I'm hashtag. I can simply disappear at any point and re-emerge as someone else, completely convincingly. I've already successfully walked The next one through the general board a couple of times without incident.

Once I decided to make it common knowledge that this is also Que, I simply voice conagar the same as Que. I'm already well prepared to be someone else if the usual suspect decides that it's an important accomplishment in his life to burn this paper bag down.

I make no distinction between so-called virtual and real life. Not every offense given would I necessarily consider fighting words. On the other hand, there are some offenses that I will not suffer unchallenged in person, or online.

Thanks for explaining. I don't remember some of the issues you mentioned, but then I was mostly hanging out in the HT and only occaisionaly lurked in the GB at the time.

I still don't see the point of having and maintaining multiple usernames, the possible exception being some of the writers on the site, who want their stories judged on their merits, and not by who they are on the forums. But even those who choose to post their stories under another name, usually interact on the boards with another, and nary the two meet. To each their own, I guess.

I have read the rare thread where both query and Conager were posting, and although I suspected they were the same at the time, there are those (like LF mentioned here, in this thread) who are / were not aware, and posted in that thread accordingly. Posting as two different people in the same thread seems a little... having a laugh at another's expense at best, a little unscrupulous perhaps, worse case.

Your reasons are your own, and I'll not ask you anymore about it or bust your chops about it, but when maintaining and playing multiple characters on a forum, you can't be too surprised at being suspected of being behind character alts when they pop up. One naturally assumes the one with chocolate on their fingers is responsible for the mess of icing and cake crumbs all over the table.

Those wordless emotions driven through the souls of the eyes.. yup dangerous to go from good times to raw emotions connected with another.. or maybe it's the equal release of passion at the same time. Good luck
