That isn't 'all' people - it's most people of any gender or demographic that have experienced power for an extended period of time.

So maintain compassion for all races, genders, all that stuff - fight fire with water.

But definitely acknowledge that it's a power thing, an opportunity thing, and white males are experiencing shrinking power and opportunity, but they are still waaaaay more privileged as a group than any other group in America.

Disenfranchisement - Lack of representation. This may mean in media or in law or in common practice. Women have been disenfranchised in so many ways, in movies women are the hot arm candy that just are not that bright and require a man to save them, protect them, be their prize because otherwise they would have no status. The best part of being a girl is dying to show a man somewhere that he should be allowed to kill someone else because losing his one-dimensional boob trampoline (the boobs have dimension though) made him MAD. For minorities I'm sure you're aware of the idea of a 'token' minority that isn't actually a minority - this applies to female characters in media. A female character that is really a guy or wants to be a guy. A 'token' minority that is there for 'representation' but they're really just another white guy because who hires women or minorities to actually write something?

The cases of white people being accosted do exist, they just don't exist anywhere near as much or as unaddressed as when it happens to non-whites.

I don't advocate violence and the guys that are expressing their helplessness through violence are not helping.
