Every once in a while, the ability to show up, on time, and work hard does pay off.
I got my last promotion because I didn't get this one (it was sort of a booby-prize, but I got a raise, so good for me). This time, I have some additional factors working for me, which is reflected in the schedule I have for next week.
It's not an absolute, but it is a strong point in my favor.
As is the MAN telling me the position is going to be posted next week and he's not going to let it be vacant for any length of time, if he can help it. That means he's likely already gotten a green light from his boss.
So, yeah, my hopes are up, but reality will bring what it will bring.

My neighbor finally got everything loaded into his uhaul truck and out of the way in the parking lot.. I won't really believe he is gone until the new tenants move in.. he has a way of reappearing just when it seems he is done... But the aroma of Crown Royale has faded outside..
