Hillary = Corrupt

Etc etc etc. (I'm not going to list everything because there's not enough bandwidth in the universe to do that. And life is too short anyway.)

What I'm trying to point out is that NONE of that is proven. Yes, there were slanders and slurs and recordings and emails and all of that. But what we've been given is just a slice of the media feeding us stuff to promote THEIR AGENDA. It's all BS regardless of whose voice or computer or whatever is the source.

Does anyone believe that Hillary isn't shady in some way? Does anyone believe that Trump wouldn't say anything to anyone that makes him look sparkly and shiny at the moment?

Does that mean that either wouldn't make a good prez? (ie Hillary would be a better prez that the Donald or vice versa.) If you think so, how do you KNOW? Do you have a crystal ball? Do you have FACTS that support a specific future other than opinion and belief?

I didn't think so. I can't predict the future and I'm pretty sure you can't either. Niether of us can say that one or the other WILL be a bad prez. What I can do is have is optimism. I can hope that tomorrow will be better than today. I can work hard every day to try to make that happen. I'm sure, in your own way, that you do too.

Whining about Trump's victory in the election doesn't promote a better tomorrow. Protesting in the street doesn't promote a better tomorrow. Yelling at other forum members doesn't make ANYONE feel better. (In fact it can cause much hurtfulness and loss of a voice or 50).

But, you know what? I'm done with this attempting to calm the tempest. I'm not the forum king or a mod or the forum owner. I have a book to write and if you guys want to trash and dis and hurt each other over some STUPID ELECTION RESULT then go ahead.

So a buddy of mine and me have had a theory about Trump since the start of this whole election (that due to all the drama I refer to as a reality TV show). this is just a theory based loosely on what facts we know and how soooo much of this shit just makes no sense at all... (In case you are wondering I didn't vote for the oompa loompa, But I wasn't exactly excited about voting for Clinton either)

First, until about 8 years ago (I don't recall the actual year) Trump was an avid Democrat. We think he changed parties, well because would the democratic party nominate him? FUCK NO... but the GOP was desperate enough to try anything.

His campaign was ran brilliantly if you really stand back and look at it... he did what he knew would get him votes, he said he would throw Clinton in prison (just what all of the republicans and hell a big chunk of everybody else thinks she deserves) and he has already backed down on this and even said they are good people I will leave them alone.

He said he was going to abolish ACA ( That's what his voters wanted to hear, now he is keeping parts of it Not many details on this yet but at least pre existing health problems is going to stay) As much as we needed healthcare reform the GOP forced dems into a rush job that, lets face it, It's better than nothing but it is definately a broken system that needs a tone of polishing.

I don't like the man. He is not someone I would want my boys to consider even for a moment as a role model, But he ran a brilliant campaign and he could actually do some good for the country. I am at least hopeful that is his actual intention. Just consider for a moment that maybe some of the dumb shit he said was just what he needed to say to get the extra votes from the dumb portion of America.

Now having said that... If he tried to talk to my sister, I would probably put a bullet between his eyes because a sexest pig is a sexest pig. His own wife (now ex) claimed he raped her and took it back after he told her to, so yes I believe most, if not all of the sexual abuse allegations against him.

P.S. I almost didn't post this because I really don't like to discuss politics with friends. Sometimes it gets ugly.

You were honest with her about who you are, and that is a beautiful and courageous thing; no shitty one-off local news "story" can ever make that not true.

Imagines I am fucking the whole ti-state area. Called my dad to tell him I was with holding money from my check. I only kept 20$. My kid is in therapy and not allowed to see him from the trauma. Cut my phone cord so I could not charge it. Hid my keys so I could not leave. Would not let me sleep for days on end because he didn't think I should and he was pissed... Yeah total nut case!
