It's a knee jerk reaction. I think we just have to swallow our bitter pill and deal for 4 years. Energy should be focused on paying attention to what the congress does in the next two years and smashing the mid terms in 2.

The Electoral college is and always was bullshit, because the founding fathers didn't really trust the people. Maybe we should ALL (both sides) be encouraging our Reps and Senators to work on abolishing it.

Your revolution to put in a government by the people for the people ended up giving you the right to elect the committee which decided who governed. Not quite the same thing.

Actually would be perfect right and legal regardless of how you voted. The Electors are suppose to be unbound, willing, and able to vote who they think would be best President.

There job is to be check and balance able to vote how they deem is best. Thats how the Founding Fathers in vision there job.

Its made up of elected local (state) officials and others. To ensure nothing happens like voting for the other guy, they usually have them pledge before voting. Its basically delegates in primaries.

Can they flip an election? Yes. Have they? Yes but only for VPs. Is saying that they can't do so wrong? Yes it is wrong. Is likely they will flip this election? No, not unless popular vote goes heavily in Hillary's favour, which as this writing, she is up 400k votes to Trump. I think 750k will be the number for Electors to toss the map out and vote according to the people.
